Helpful Tips
Get a travel pass :
If you're in NYC for more than a weekend, I highly recommend you buy the 7-day unlimited metro pass for $33. Public transportation is the easiest way to get around NYC, and this metro card will allow you to go anywhere you want in the city. Most importantly, it will help you save money !
Dont forget to tip ! :
When calculating your budget for your trip, don't forget to include a part for the tips you'll give when you go to a restaurant or take a cab. The general rule of thumb is to tip 20% for great service, and 25% for exceptional service.
Prices do not include sales tax :
If you go to a store to buy something, keep in mind that the displayed price does not include tax. The tax will be added to the total amount when you pay at the cashier.
